The purpose of this area of the site is to develop free tools for racers to analyze their data vs simulators and models.
I intend to learn as we go and iterate toward some Assetto Corsa mod starting points for various race car series which will enable racers to 'drive' their own low cost (Steam ~$30 only + free downloads) simulator which will then also output simulated Motec data and finally ingest the Motec data into an OpenModelica model for that specific race car (in different fidelities depending on accuracy you are looking for or data available).
Optional : lastly if you have actual Motec or other track data you should be able to get it into the OpenModelica vehicle model to 'close the loop' and validate what is I believe called a digital twin.
Toolchain:
Assetto Corsa (free version, just get Steam ~$30)
Motec csv data export
Python prep csv file for OpenModelica
OpenModelica
Iterate with Google AI Studio (racer feedback like a pit crew/engineer to all of above)
Option for racers
Substitute real Motec or other csv data for Step 2 above to validate model and complete the loop!
Later Development
Response Surface Map variables and sensitivity
Closed loop fan driven system on site
